urgent facebook question?!?

so, i basically send my friend (who i no longer see since she moved to a different country) a message on facebook, but i later learned (from her status) that she was on vacation and so didn't see the message. its been about 3 weeks since i sent her the message and she came back from vacation just today. my question is when she logs on to fb, will the message be the 1st thing she sees or wil it only say on her inbox that she got a message? im afraid she may not see the message, so will fb notify her about the message or not? its really important she sees the message because i had to ask her something, but i don't want to send her another message saying the same thing because it'll be awkward and may seem annoying and besides, the message was really long and i don't want to type it again. plz answer?

It will show that you sent a message in her inbox.

It should tell her that she has a message. However you could just send her a message telling her that you sent her a message while she was on vacation, not realizing she was on vacation and that you want to make sure that she doesn't miss it.

It will send her a notification that she has a message in her inbox. It will look like this: http://images.techhive.com/images/articl...6-orig.jpg (their icons mean friend requests, messages, and notifications). If she clicks on it, it will show her your message. But if she does not click on it, it will not pop up. It will tell you if she's viewed the message when she does.
