Get rid of tags on Facebook help!?

My dad tags me in the stupidest pictures ever on Facebook. Some aren't even pictures of me but of my brother and sister who act really dumb on pictures. Well now I'm tagged in the pictures AND his status. I hid them from my timeline... But other people can see it. I removed the tag also but it still says that I am tagged in the status and picture. What should I do? I am so mad because they are stupid pictures and he ALWAYS does this. Several months ago I was so skinny from an illness I had... that he took a picture for Mother's Day and I was so pale and skinny and he tagged me in it too. I'm pretty sure that I made it to where I had to accept the tags but it didn't. What should I do before my friends can see it?

Go into the photo when you see it full screen then click options. There you can click on something (i cant remember) like 'Remove tag and report photo'. Click this then a box will appear giving you options. You can remove the tag therefor you have no involvement in the photo and you can report this person but only if you want to. The only known way to stop/prevent this is by going to your privacy settings page, and click on edit for "timeline and tagging" there you can approve each tag. This is the same with statues, go onto the status and click on the button on the top right corner of the status to remove the tag.
