Is it me, or has Facebook gotten really boring?

I temporarily deactivated my faecbook account months ago, coz I had to prepare for my exams. But over the months, I don't have a need to get back to it anymore. I studied abroad for six years and after returning home, I used facebook to keep in touch with my friends. But we've all gotten busy, no one has time for pointless updates, and once people would update significant things, where as now its just garbage, viral videos, stupid quotes and "funny" pictures.
Not to mention all of us have gotten busy with our lives, to indulge in "liking" every dumb post or picture.
What do y'all feel??
I don't even miss it anymore...

Facebook for me is boring, but I still use it for time burning

Not everyone has the same use for FB. Many people use it as their main hub for sharing and communication (chat, video, etc.). Companies use it to promote products, services, employment etc.
Countries use it to spread social awareness, news, propaganda, religion or politics.

And then there are people who simply have no use for it and think that because they don't use it, it has gotten boring for the rest of the world.

Facebook has always been boring and just a place for people to show off

I don't use it anymore I use it only when I talk to friends.It is just so boring most of the posts and pictures are just dumb and I have better things to do.
