I am not logged in on Facebook, but when other users log into Facebook, they see me online?
It shows that I am online, but instead of showing the green dot, it shows that little phone symbol....... what does that mean and how can I disable it so I'm offline completely?

It means that you're on your mobile phone. I think it happens to a few people. Try doing this: click on the chat settings and click "turn chat off". That way, you will not appear to be online anymore

Agreed with other answer that it is your phone. But with iOS 6, they integrated Facebook into the update so go to settings, Facebook, and log out. Or find chat somewhere and disable it.

That means your mobile is connected to facebook, disconnect it or turn off your mobile wifi.
