Twitter is a micro-blogging site. Twittering is a verb form made from the name of the site to signify participation. Micro-Blogging in general is a designation for a SHORT update that fits in the allowed characters of an SMS message.

i had this same question, and i tooned in too late to watch it on opera lol. ok so basically, its just posts that you can either submit or read about the little things in life that people are doing. like eating an orange (i'm doing that right now.. haha) or talking to someone on the phone. its just a way o stay connected to your friends around the world and find out things you may not have known before. on the twitter website (twitter.com) there's a little movie that tells you "in plain english" what it's about.
hope this helped Smile

I saw it on CNN and not intererested, Ashton Kutcher has 1
million followers, big whoop. I don't celebrity worship
and there's alot of them on this site. I had a bad issue
with these "connecting sites" before and will never join
another one.
