This isn't going to end in you being sued.

You were vile to do such a thing and I hope you ARE genuinely sorry. Apart from anything else, you could have your Facebook account removed permanently by Facebook, if enough people report you for hate speech, bullying and harassment. It's not worth it.

You have apologised and you have deleted the thread. The evidence is gone. It costs money to sue someone for either libel or defammation, and she won't be going there. Cases are hard to win.

She could report you to the University, that is possible. If you get called in, do NOT mention anything that you wrote or admit to anything. Just keep saying 'I made a mistake and I have apologised'; keep saying it over and over again until they get fed up with asking you about it.

Learn from this and don't bully people either on-line or in real life.
