Can I edit my first commet of a shared photo on facebook?
Hi,

I shared a photo from other people's wall to mine and write a short comment about it. Embarrassingly, I misspell a simple word.

I find no editing option allowing me to change that.

Does anyone know what to do?
It seems to be different when you upload the photo yourself.

if the comment is part of the share, no... but if it's a comment left on the share after it was shared, yes

that's why i never type anything when i share something... i share it, and THEN comment on it, so that i can edit it afterwards (or delete it) if i want to

you can just delete the share tho... and then re-share it... leaving a different comment with the spelling correction, but then you will lose all of the other comments other people have left on the share

All you need to do is go to the far right of the area in which you commented until a little symbol that looks like a pencil appears when you mouse over it. When it does, just click on the pencil, and then choose edit. Edit your comment how you would like to, and then press "enter" when you're done, to show your now corrected comment. Hope that helps. (:
