What time of day do I wish my bestfriend happy birthday on facebook?

Facing a Dihlemma. Do I wish him happy birthday at 12am, be the first to do so or do I do it another time or even last out of everyone in the day? Which time would he appreciate most seeing I want to be the one person out of us that makes an impacting birthday wish on his wall. Answers would be much appreciated thanks!

I know a lot of people that post a wicked long post with an old photo of them and the friend at midnight.

I think you should post it on his wall in the morning, just before he would normally wake up, say around 7am or so. Definitely say happy birthday but it might be nice to add a small paragraph about memories or what you like about him, maybe even a photo of you both together would be nice.

As early in the day as you can. Make sure it's the first thing that they see when they wake up.

If he didn't get any birthday wishes yet, do it now and be first. If he already got a birthday wish wait until 12 and mention in your birthday wish that you waited till 12 on purpose. Post a picture of you together and make it a long and funny birthday wish in the caption.

if you want to make an impact what about idk.. texting him? or ringing him… or going round… or getting him a card?! jesus christ!-_- if you're talking crush wise still text him…. if you don't have his number idk… if i wanted to get his attention i would message him rather than post on his wall! its more intimate and kinda in a way more meaningful! i mean….everyone gets that lil box telling them its his birthday and all his friends post on his wall when they see it!? be different… message him! and idk what time…i think early morning… not too early though, 12 on the dot seems very… stalkerish… unless you are close in which case, send it then.. if not send it in the morning around… brunch time!

If I'm on line at midnight, that's when I send my birthday wishes, but it's not the time you send it that makes an impression....it's the message. Just saying "Happy birthday" isn't going to leave a lasting impression.
