Capitalism?
Under Republicans and Democrats, we have a hybrid Capitalist system, sort of a state capitalism like Russia, with Wall Street Banksters controlling the economy instead of the economy and productive business controlling the Banksters. In a real Free Market, money would flow to productive business people instead of to Banksters which use the available Capital to bet on various things for their own benefit. A real Free Market would make the country more successful in general and more prosperous for most people. This increased general prosperity would allow more money which us Socialists could use for Social Safety Nets and Education without placing an undue strain on the economy, as it does when most of the money flows to the top 1% instead of to enterprising citizens. Well that's some real idealistic thinking.
Don't think it's realistic tho, especially because socialists will never really have any power in America. And neither will Ron Paul. As far as free market vs. our weird Capitalistic Regime goes, I'd been in favor of free market once again. But it isn't completely fair to say that we don't live in a free market society, I mean technically you're free to put your goods up on the market as you will. It's just a heavily influenced, micromanaged self destructive economy. Eh. Maybe you wouldn't call that free market at all. |

First, you have got to have REAL money, as required by the Constitution, instead of this bull$hit fiat currency the private Federal Reserve loans us.

Yes, lets get socialists, the antithesis of free markets, to back up someone who is adamantly pro-free market.
I think you should seriously think that one through again. |
