When you un-friend someone from Facebook, does that person know it?

The only way the person knows if you have unfriended them is if they go to your profile individual.. it would say add friend on their profile

The person would know if they noticed you missing from their list of friends, also if you went to their profile it would say add as friend, or appear in people you may know.

He wont get any notification. He is now your friend subscriber and get all of your public posts in his newsfeed. So he never know you have unfriend him unless he check his friends list or he visit your profile.

Yes, if they look at their friend's list. They don't get a special message or something like that, but since you are no longer in their friend's list, they don't get your updates and can't look at your rofile.
