what is wrong with my facebook?

I get onto my computer
I open the web browser
I type facebook.com into the browser box
what comes up is facebook with no pictures or design at all.
from my understanding of programming, it looks like a webpage that was built to not have any pictures. I can log on, I can see links to stuff, but nothing actually looks like facebook.

and YES, I have made sure that I typed in the name correctly, it comes up as
https://www.facebook.com/
I know that is the right address, but it all looks weird. I've tried clearing my cache and nothing.

I think I know what you are talking about. The page you're trying to view looks glitched up. Try rebooting the computer, that should fix it.
