Why cant I log into facebook?

Ive been trying to log in on my phone and my PC all day. Ive reset my password like 8 times.

When I'm on my phone, it gives me the error message "You must login first" after attempting to login.

When I'm on my PC, after typing in my email and password it just takes me back to the login screen with no error message, and when I try to type in my previous password it tells me that I already changed it, so I know the passwords im typing are correct.

Ive never had this happen before and ive been using F.B. since the beginning. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Cheers.
I dont think its a cookies problem, just deleted all my temporary internet files and it didnt work. No request for a verification code either.

Probably a Cache and Cookie problem. Clean both those items the go to Facebook by using this address in your address bar m.facebook.com and you should be able to log in.

This happened to me last week. I did a search first and learned of the Cache and Cookie problem and was able to log in with no problem after cleaning them.

If you signed up for the verification code be ready to go to your phone and get the code to get logged in. Once the cache and cookies are deleted Facebook may not recognize your browser and may require the verification code.
