Why do things change?

My parents broke up a month ago...and dad moved out with some other lady...and it's all about her now...it's not about us as in his kids...we wanna see him he always makes up stuff says his busy...what or how do I get him to see us...

He is having a 'selfish' time right now... normal service will resume, eventually.

Don't push him... either way could backfire,,, just send the occasional message, thinking of you, sometimes miss having you around kind of thing.

The dealings with your mum and lawyers and his new lady will all be loaded with stress... you shouldn't be part of that stress... you should still be the same as always.

As some point in the future it would be good to set up a regular place to get together... a lunch or going to a game or just a walk in the park... that way there is less hassle making arrangements and competing demands.
