How to scroll down in messages in fb?

How to scroll down in messages in fb?
Basically when you're searching for something in your facebook messages and the options come up I cannot scroll down. I need help with this and it would be greatly appreciated.

Just mouse over the list of messages and then scroll and that should do it.
