why facebook looks different on mobile device, rather than my pc destop.
do facebook write two different programs.?

because when you are opening on the phone notice the address bar , its m.facebook.com .. its a different version of facebook specifically designed for low bandwith and phones not capable of handling flash..On higher phone sets , and androids you have the option to force your net browser to open a desktop version of a website...but unless your mobile has sufficient ram...it will probably kill the app before it is able to load all the objects...and by sufficient ram i mean at least 512 mb .

Hi,Facebook page is also designed for Mobile devices .It depends ur Mobile RAM capacity and screen size that which page will open.Facebook mobile web page is designed for mobile devices or other devices to open Facebook in low RAM capacity./These pages load fastly as they have.mobi at last or they start with m..Also,mobile phones have low RAM.But,Bandwidth also matters.So,it looks different.-Ayush.

This is not only with the facebook but also with the other sites. Even there are no apps available for certain sites yet we see different versions of websites. The reason is the designers and developers of the websites design 2 vesrsions. One for the laptops,desktops devices and other one smart phones, tablets or you can say mobile devices.

yes when you open fb in mobile you open the mobile version of fb.its designed so that you won't ve any problem with speed even in low band width 2g connection and also you will be able to see all your contents in a compact manner or else if face book opened in your mobile like it would in your desktop would have to zoom in and out often to see all your contents. with mobile fb your experience becomes more easy.
