On Facebook chat when it says "5m" for example...?

Does that mean that's them answering a message? Or they were just scrolling up & down on their newsfeed? It's in their mobile device I'm talking about. It's coming up loads of things like "3d" for 3 days & "4h" for 4 hours ago etc. but what does it actually mean?!!!!

It's telling you the last time they were on facebook or on their app on their phone. For example, if it has a "3d" beside it, that's the last time they logged on.
