On Facebook why does it sometimes say people are online when they aren't?
Sometimes when I'm on chat with someone, I will send them a message and the "seen" doesn't pop up but the green dot still appears beside their name for about 10 minutes before it disappears. I know this because when the person comes back, they normally say something like "Sorry I was away there"
So why does it indicate the person is still online? Ads |

The person uses a facebook app or he forgot to press the log out button.

Maybe because they don't log out their facebook accounts in pc, laptops, ipad. It happened to me also, I never log it out with my phone to save time repeating logging in with my fb. So it still appear online.

Mostly When A Person Log's Out Or TurnOff Chat, It Sometimes Takes To A Time To TurnOff Chat Or Logging Out, It Is Due To the Interent Connection Speed, If Your Internet Connection Is Slow Then, It Loads Page Or Chat Slowly
