How can I hide my "likes" from others on Facebook?

I want to like a comment a friend posted, but do not want others to see that I liked his comment. Any idea on how I may be able to do so?

I'm afraid that's the point of social networks. They're public for your friends to see. The only way is the long way of increasing privacy settings on the individuals who you don't want to see your like. Best advice is to just go ahead and like the comment anyway because its your account not theirs.

the only way to prevent someone from seeing your likes is to add the person you want to hide it from to your restricted list

it doesnt work the other way around, you cant just hide a like from all of your friends
