Will a survey of economics help with a future marketing minor?
I intend on having a minor in marketing and was wondering if i would take a survey in economics would it help me with marketing. Also math is not my best subject, so would economics be the right class to fulfill my social science requirement?
also my major is communications so would economics be better or psychology?

Economics provides a helpful knowledge base no matter what your major. The disciplines of economic behavior are a core to marketing. While you can grasp economics without sophisticated quantitative skills, the principles and relationships are very much mathematical in nature.

A survey economics class is not very math insensitive and will teach you the concepts and vocabulary to understand when people talk about the economy. It would be useful but depending on what else you are studying it may not be better than other social sciences.
