What happens when you accidentally like someone's status on facebook?

I was on a random persons facebook page on my phone and I clicked the like button on accident. I quickly unliked it. Will they still see a notification?

I'm 99% sure they won't. I do it all the time. I'm almost positive they won't get a notification

yes they will see the notification. it happened to me. a guy liked one of my posts and when i clicked on my post there was no like from him and then it disapeared from the notifications also

One time I accidentally added my finances ex girlfriend. She sent me a message saying how glad she was that I added her! Haha. I told her I didn't mean to and then deleted her... Stupid touch screens.

Surely they'll get a Notification, but when they click it, they'll either reach a error page or their original post without any visible changes.

Yes they will 100% get a notification. If you something, they will get a notification but if you unlike it, they won't even know about it.
