Since that wasn't actually his plan, then of course he won't discuss it.
If you want to talk about his plan honestly, then you might wish to learn that it is completely voluntary, that you would then only be able to invest a portion of your Social Security into the market. Perhaps you might also care to know that in any given 10 year period, including ones with the stock market crash, you'd still have more returns from investing in a stock market fund than you'd have from Social security. And if it was privatized, if you died, your family would get the money. With social security, it goes back to the government, with reduced payouts to surviving spouses. I would rather be in control of that money, than have the government control it, misuse it, misspend it, and play games with it, and delay when I can get it back. Ads |

Where do you think it's been all of these years. Social Security, and peoples 401K's have always been invested in the stock market. Nice try, but Obama is the one going down. Democrat for McCain/Palin 2008.
