Why is facebook so slow but nothing else is?

Lately facebook is loading really slowly, but no other website is? I have tried two different internet connections (different houses) and it is still slow, but no one else in my family has this issue. It freezes and lags and then chrome says its frozen and asks if i want to terminate the page.
What could be causing it to be so slow?
