Nope. You must have accidentally cleared it. Or might be a bug. But it automatically doesn't get deleted unless you log out and log back in.

facebook doesnt, that isnt even a function of facebook

but your browser might be set to do that - some people have it set up so that history is deleted when the browser is closed
