Friend Request from Facebook?

I recieved a Friend request for Facebook by e-mail, when I don't even have an account. It says for me to accept the invitation to see who else has friend requested me. How does this work???

Sometimes, people can send requests from Facebook to peoples emails you don't yet have Facebook. The email will usually encourage you to sign up for Facebook.

Other than that, it may be a scam... if you click on the link, check to see if it says 'facebook.com' at the beginning of the address; because if it doesn't, it's a fake and you should report it to Facebook.
