Hiding Facebook relationship status from certain people?

So I already know how to block people from not being able to view my relationship status on my Facebook timeline in the About section. However is there a way for them not to see the public notification that is shown on everyone's bulletin, when it says for example "Michael is in a relationship with Cindy" or is that also hidden once blocking them from viewing your relationship status?

You can just put "in a relationship" with nobody or just take off ur relationship

you can hide it from only certain people if you want to using the audience selector next to the item as shown here
