Do you think getting a facebook acount would be a good idea for me?

I've had one a very long time ago when I was in school, but I closed it once I realized how much time I spend on it. Now I am in college and it seems like I am not able to keep up with all the people I'm meeting. I met many wonderful people and made friends with many but I don't have a way of staying connected with them.

Would you advise me to get an account and start adding those I meet in college ?

Sure. Facebook is an easy way to keep up with all your new friends. Just don't post stupid statuses or unflattering photos of yourself. People these days screenshot EVERYTHING. Also, you know employers will look at things you've posted so be very careful and use good judgment with what you post.
