Someone on my friends list put up a photo of her aborted child as her profile picture. What are your thoughts?

She had her unborn child aborted because she was found to have Downs' Syndrome. Then she put a photo of her aborted child as her profile picture and writes almost daily statuses about how much she misses her, wishes she was holding her in her arms, how she knows that she will see her again one day, etc.

I think this is highly inappropriate for Facebook. What are your thoughts on this?

(By the way, she is not a teenager or anything along those lines - she is a woman in her early forties.)

Thats disgusting...if she wanted the child then why the hell did she abort......and now its on FB...people are nuts

Well, the profile picture doesn't seem too bad, she's just keeping her in her memories, but the whole post that seems inappropriate because she's the one who made the choice of aborting her! But I can slightly understand why she would want to have an abortion finding out that her poor baby has Down syndrome, I don't think I would want my child to be bullied or not be able to be whoever they want to be without limits sad to think about but I think that what she's doing is just a little too much and if she misses her that much then she never should have aborted her!
