Social Media: Facebook vs. Google+?

I personally love Google+, and prefer it over facebook, even though I've been using it for a week or so, mostly because of the ease of creating and using Circles--a feature much more useful than Lists. The main problem is that it becomes another social media tool to use daily or weekly or whenever is necessary. Do you think it will challenge facebook?

Google+ has to get over 700 million users to make a challenge to Facebook. I don't know if it can do it.
