Is there an easy way to put all of my posts from facebook private?
A few years ago I allowed some of my stuff to be public, and some of it private, now I want to make it all private but certain posts don't even have the icon where I can click only friends instead of public. What do I do and why wont some of them let me do it while others will?

Log in to Facebook and click "Profile" in the upper-right corner of the screen to view your own profile. Click "Photos" in the left navigation menu under your profile photo to view your photos.
2

Click the album you want to fix. If you do not see the album you want to fix, click "See All Photos" above the visible albums to display all of your albums and then click the desired album.
3

Click "Edit Album" above the photos in that album. An "Edit Album" window will appear.
4

Click the drop-down menu next to "Privacy" in the "Edit Album" window and select the group for whom you want to make the album visible. You can choose "Everyone," "Friends of Friends," "Friends Only" or "Customize." Choosing "Customize" lets you make the album viewable only by certain people or hide the album from certain people.
5

Click the "Save" button. Your friends or selected groups will now be able to see the album that has disappeared from their view.

there is no way to make them all PRIVATE, but you can easily make them all "friends only"

go to your privacy page and use the "limit past posts" function to change them all to "friends only" quickly

it's all explained in the link below

Facebook provides an option to hide the posts if you donot want anyone to see them. Moreover you can choose Friends only to see the stuff.
