Someone is pretending to be me on Facebook, what do I do?

Someone has created a fake Facebook profile and is pretending to be me in a very slanderous way. According to Facebook I have to go to the page in order to report the account or the individual posts. They have blocked me so I cannot go to the account. How do I report the profile and/or the posts?

Create another Facebook!!!

You can either create an alternate account so you can report them, and or speak to them. Though if you've already tried speaking to them its not the best route to take because it will most likely blow up in your face again. If none of this works, and you know who is controlling the profile, its a matter you can bring to the police, as ridiculous as it sounds its a matter they can help you deal with if this person is harassing you or using the profile to falsely imitate you in a harmful way.
