Can Facebook friends on Restricted list still see posts that mutual friends comment on or like?

For example, I have two friends Jane and John. Jane is on my Restricted list, John is not. Jane and John are friends as well and Jane is NOT on John's restricted list. If I post a status that John comments on or likes/shares, etc., will Jane be able to see this post in her feed?

If John shared it I think Jane can see it... If he 'likes' it or comments on it... I'm not sure, it may depend on HIS privacy settings I have a lot of trouble figuring out what people can see of the things I 'like'. I didn't realize anyone could see any of that until someone told me they saw I had liked a bunch of photos. Not a fan of facebook's privacy settings, personally I don't think they make it simple to limit what people can see.
