i'm well placed middle level executive in marketing, doing job for 7 yrs now,married.. with decent position n decent salary, now inner voice appeals for doing some social wrk quiting job, do u think it is crazy ? or should i walk on the way i want ? i have lto of doubts about financial position & basic needs of my family.

To do social work you will need a social work degree - Assuming you have your BA you could go on for your MSW. Now if you don't want to go back to school you could probably get a job as an administrator in a human service agency (though it will be more difficult without an MSW or MPA.
