Friend's post notification on Facebook?

So I've been getting notifications from one friends who posts anything not related to me. I don't know how to fix it. It's really starting to bug me. I've checked the Close Friends notifications and they are turned off. I don't have a clue how to fix it! Help me please?

Go the help menu, it has been set so that you get a notification every time they update, I think if you go to the friendship and there should be option to untick notifications. But check though the help menu if unsure
