How do I keep someone specific from contacting me, seeing my posts, etc, but not BLOCK them on Facebook?
My grandma is psycho. And I can't block her because that would break her heart. Not that I particularly care, because I'm pretty mean like that, but she's somehow getting when I post in her NOTIFICATIONS. Not just her newsfeed. She hits the world button and I'm there. So my issue is, I'm not tagging her or involving her in any way in my posts, but she's always getting notifications. I only get notifications from other people if I'm tagged or if I left a comment. And no, she's not commenting or liking half of them. They're brand new and in her notifications. Then she's reading to me half of what I already know (who liked it blah blah blah). I'm not opposed to blocking her, but if I could save her nagging ("Daryl, why can't I find you?" "Why dont you post any more?") that'd be great! And I have access to her account (I set it up for her) so if I can change it there, I'm able to do that. Thanks for the help.
It is in her notifications. She pulled it up in front of me. She hits the world button and I'm there. I promise it's the notifications. Not just news feed.

I don't think she is getting notifications, you must be showing up in her newsfeed. And I believe with the NEW facebook you can choose people who are more relevant who you want to show up in your immediate newsfeed or possibly even notifications, I am not sure because I don't care enough about anyone on fb to specify them showing up on my newsfeed. Anyway all you can do is not block her but put her as limited. If you already don't have a group called limited then go in your privacy settings a create one. I did that with my aunts who used to spy on me, now they can only see my profile pictures not my other pictures and they can't see everything on my "wall". However the thing with facebook is you can;t really do exactly what you are describing without either blocking her or unfriending her and even if you do that she may see some updates if you have mutual friends. Facebook is dumb like that.

Go to account settings and turn off notifications. Hope this helps.
