how to change your facebook profile photo with an existing one?

I added a photo to an album, and i wanted to put that photo as profile photo (with the same comments, likes, description), but what it does is asks me to cut the photo and it creats a new one.
How do i add an existing photo as profile photo (with same likes,comments, description, etc..")?

if the photo is not already in your profile photos album, then there is no way to make it your default picture and keep the likes and comments that were on the original picture
