Is it weird to friend her on facebook?

i met this really cool girl on a trip to a college visit. we seemed to hit it off but she lives in another state. would it be weird to friend her? im not sure we would see each other again

You enjoyed her company , nothing weird about sending her a friend request. even if u were a complete stranger , it's not that weird. I've had strangers friend request me , i just think to my self for a minute , do i know them ? Then i accept or deny and move on.
