(Question specially for Trixie.) I don't think people can be both genders. You are either one or the other... if you want to change genders, fine... but then *be that gender*. I also don't think media attention is the right way to go. His poor kid will never hear the end of it and did not ask to be a social experiment.
Teaching about a religion is different. They can still choose to not follow the religion. This kid can't choose to have not been on the news.
I get that he was born the wrong gender, so I guess both genders, but the thing is, he had a sex change, so that's when he should be the one he changed to be. I don't know... maybe I'm just really ignorant and living in the middle ages.

Children also didn't ask to be brainwashed by their parents into believing Christian fairytales, but it happens all the time.

I don't like it At All

You are either a woman, or a man. If you have to have a sex change, find. But you don't get to pick and choose what parts of the sexes you want.

As far as a man breastfeeding, I say no! What is so wrong with a man being a biological man and a woman being a biological women? What's all the hoopla about injecting hormones into men in order for them to lactate?

Im all for challenging gender roles in society, but why are people all of a sudden so unhappy with gender roles that we have as human beings??

Then, theres a commotion about this guy not getting accepted into the breastfeeding group (LLC?) and people Are upset! This group was intended to support mothers breastfeeding efforts. I see Absolutely no issues with them not accepting a MAN as a leader of the group. If he wanted to relate, support, and encouragee woman in a woman's activity, maybe she shouldn't of become a Man

"He" used to be a she, so yeah, its a little weird, but its no ones business but his... or her... own...ok, ok, you caught me, in other words, i have no idea what to say about it, as i have never had that kind of experience, or heard of that before

& as for your "I don't think people can be both genders. You are either one or the other." Yes, you CAN be 2 genders, but its EXTREMELY rare.

I am very liberal minded but this reeks of wanting attention. Like you, I think he is exploiting the child so he can get his 5 minutes of fame (and maybe a cash settlement?). The child is going to have to deal with this all through school. She wanted a sex change and became a "he". Fine. Then he wanted a child and stopped the hormone treatment to get pregnant. Fine. Then he wanted to breastfeed. Fine. None of this is anybody's business but then he went public and that's where he went wrong, especially when he raised a stink about not being able to become an LLLC leader. This is total BS.

Then again, maybe I am ignorant as well and living in the middle ages along with you...

Well, when you allow weird or abnormal to become the norm, who knows what the new norms will be?

This is just an example of where this world is headed. And that fool smiled for the camera...LMAO!

I think good for him! He is giving his baby the best start in life with the best nutrition. It's funny how everyone says breast is best but then suddenly it's weird because the breastfeeder is a trans-man. He is just using the equipment he has to feed his child. What is wrong with that? Lots of men who were born male wish to breastfeed and some attempt to, so I don't see it really has a lot to do with him trying to be two genders at the same time or anything.
