How to change your name on facebook?

I want to put my middle name as 'Strawberry' on facebook because that's my nickname...but facebook said I have to use my real name

I thought you could put a nickname as your middle name? Also, people call their children fruit names all the time so I have no clue why this won't be accepted, do you know why and do you know how I can fix it? Thanks ^_^
I DO know how to change my name...what I'm asking is why won't it let me change it? It keeps coming up with an error message saying that I need to use my real name

First go to your facebook. Then go to the top right corner and click the settings icon, then click account settings. After that, click edit name then click on alternate name and type what you want it to be. It should work.
