My niece said "yes" to being friends to my ex-, and not to me. She is my blood relative, and the 2 never seemed to get along anyway. Why did she do it? Maybe to get me to be jealous, or to spite me, either way, I quit Facebook after that.

is this homework?
it really depends on your age, and how you were brought up sometimes you see your friends getting lots of likes on something, and you dont get likes on anything; that would create jealousy but once you grow up, you realize how to overcome things like that - facebook is what you make it, and if you are too young to have well developed social skills, you are going to get angry at some things because not everyone gets treated the same online... kinda like how high school works |

People can post about their experiences and lives and gloat about them, even if they aren't true.

I think because it is so easy to track down previous friends and exs. I know I wasn't impressed finding my partner was friends with two of his, of course this is my own insecurity but it made me very uneasy, especially when I can see them on his Facebook. Plus you tend to get serial likers for instance, whenever my bf posts, regardless of what it is, a particular girl likes every single comment he makes. If I happen to comment on the post, she too will have to comment. I have had to learn to ignore it but Facebook is a big mind game
