How come I can comment on a user I'm not friend with on Facebook?
Someone made a status, tagged a bunch of people, not including myself. I can still like and comment on the status, even though we're not friends. Why is this?

Privacy settings can change who can comment (and more) on your photos and posts and who can't.

That person has them set to "Friends of Friends" or maybe "Everyone".

If one of the people tagged is a friend of yours, the post would also show and you would be able to comment.
