Questions about Doomsday May 21?

Is the world really going to end today? I haven't heard much about this at all until a couple days ago. I seen it was trending on Twitter and was like wait... wtf?! I thought it was suppose to be in 2012... I did some looking on yahoo search after seeing that and supposedly Doomsday is today at 6:00pm. Is this true? I have my doubts, but in a way I'm also kind of scared/nervous. There's still so much I want to do in life. I want to be able to do simple things like see certain people again, hang out with friends, etc...
My mom won't even be home at 6:00pm. She'll have 2 hours of work left.

So is this really true? Are we all going to die tonight at 6:00pm?
I've heard both for some odd reason - when I was looking for info, I heard it be called "Judgement Day May 21, 2011" AND "Doomsday May 21, 2011" so I don't know. I don't know about all this stuff at all so I'm just going to hope we don't all die.
Oh and I'm sorry to the 2nd person, but I can't understand your answer!

Probablemente hoy no sea el comienzo del fin del mundo como se viene anunciando. Pero como Dios todo lo malo lo usa para bien de la humanidad y esta no será una excepcion, quiza la ocasion sirva para preguntarse, estamos preparados para cuando Jesus llame a su Iglesia?

Jesus fue muy claro en decir que el día y la hora solo DIOS la sabe y que sería en un abrir y cerrar de ojos CUANDO LA GENTE MENOS SE LO ESPERE. Pero tambien advirtio que debiamos estar preparados porque los que no acepten a Jesus, no se arrepientan de sus pecados y obedezcan a Dios, van a vivir LA GRAN TRIBULACION o sea la van a pasar muy mal. Dios no declara esto para asustarnos, ni para amenazarnos, sino para que nos preparemos y nos salvemos. Por eso la Biblia, en el libro del Apocalipsis que es donde se describen todas estas fatalidades, comienza diciendo bendito el que oye mi palabra y me obedece. Las revelaciones alli contenidas son bendiciones para los que lean la biblia y decidan obedecer a Dios. Tambien son una descripcion profetica de lo que va a pasar despues del Rapto que es cuando Jesus DESDE EL CIELO convoca su pueblo y los muertos suben a reunirse con Dios y luego los vivos son subitamente transformados en cuerpos gloriosos y tambien le siguen, todos aquellos, vivos y muertos que en su momento hayan aceptado a Jesus como rey y salvador, se hayan arrepentido de sus pecados y hayan obedecido a Dios, asi de sencillo es obtener la salvacion, ser parte de la gran celebracion.

Para los que se queden, los desastres naturales se multiplicaran incontablemente, las epidemias, la violencia, la maldad. La muerte huira de la tierra y todo lo aborrecible reinara. Es tan facil evitar este momento. Quiza hoy no suceda nada extraordinario en el mundo, pero a lo mejor, en este dia suceda algo extraordinario en su corazon, que usted decida que no esta preparado y que esta listo para aceptar a cristo como su seguro rey y salvador. Solo tiene que decir esta sencilla oracion o una parecida. Jesus te acepto como mi Rey y Salvador, me arrepiento (sinceramente) de mis pecados y te prometo que de hoy en adelante te seguire como mi Rey y hare lo que tu quieres, leer la biblia, congregarme en una iglesia y amar a mis hermanos en Cristo. amen.

Probably, today won´t be the judgment day, but are you ready? The bible says that nobody knows the date but God, so we need to be ready. It is true that after Jesus call His believers, terrible things will happen. But it is very easy to avoid this tribulation period, just say, Jesus I accept you as my Saviour and Lord, I repent of my sins and I will obey you. I will pray, read the bible and congregate in a bible based church. Thanks Jesus. Amen. God sent his beloved Son to save us no to condem us. And read the bible God will guide you and He will answer your question. It is true that hell exist and false profets will confuse you.
