How to make someone and admin on facebook 2013?

Hi, I'm trying to make someone an admin on a Facebook group but I cant seem to do it. I've looked at YouTube tutorials etc. but it keeps mentioning "edit page" and it tells me to look for a little cog symbol, which I also don't have. I didn't create the group, I was added to it, the person who created the group deleted his Facebook then made a new one and wants me to add him as the admin on the Facebook group. Is it even possible since I didn't make the group? BUT is it is, can someone tell me how?!

no, it's not possible unless you are already an admin

only admins can add other admins

and also, the person would have to be on your friends list (which i assume he is)

if there are no admins in the group, then there never will be again, instead a new group will have to be created
