No way is guaranteed. But three things can kind of help. First, make sure you have a great profile (the "about me" part). Then and only then, proceed to these two places and join:

Also, remember these rules:
(1) Don't tweet too often! (Like, you don't want to fill up your followers' walls: gets annoying!)

(2) ALWAYS @reply when they tweet you! Polite to answer! (Except when you're "ending" a conversation, of course...it has to stop, *somewhere*.)

(3) RT retweet often - that is, give public notice of your followers' tweets - that gives them public recognition, and shows them you care about what they said, and you want to spread the word that they're important.
