Has social media increased your business?
I'm trying to get testimonials on how Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, Linkedin, all the social networking sites have increased your business. Please provide some great ones. Thanks.

Without a doubt.
#1 Get a program that automatically adds friends
#2 Set up a website business where you sell something
#3 Once you have thousands of friends added, put a link to your website business in your profile so all those friends see it.
#4 Make Money
Of course, I didn't actually do it like that, that would be spamming and you could get sued for that...

Myspace sued him and won for $230 million. So in 1 year, you know he made alot more than that spamming Myspace.

Using web 2.0 applications does increase your business but only if used in the right way. Each social networking site works in a different way and it's not a case of using the same approach for each site.

For example, Twitter is very much about developing relationships with potential customers - not spamming all your "followers." If people enjoy your Tweets and get to know you then they are more likely to become customers.
