Facebook group chat...I want to leave the chat but my friends will be mad..help?

Okay so my friends added me into a group chat on Facebook at the beginning of the year....now I really don't use the chat anymore but my friends still talk to each other on it...I really wanna leave the conversation but i don't want them to think that I'm mad at them...I just dont use it anymore....I'm still friends with them so idk what to do....(I already asked this question but no one answered..)

You can apologize them about why you are leaving it, quitting without informing them might lead them to think negative. The only way which I see is to tell them in a polite tone. You can also make a story that you get busy in your work and you do not get time to chat.
