How do you put someone's post as your status on Facebook?

So some one did a LMS for me and said they want me to put her post on my wall as my status. From how I interpret it I think it means to copy everything and post it again? But from what I've seen when people said they already put it as their status I don't see anything of that sort...so what does it mean by putting something as your status and how do you do it?

go to the post and look at the bottom of it. it should have a "share" click-on. click and click post.
