Facebook messages... What does it mean when..?
I was chatting with this guy and he had to go but I sent one more message. At first it had a checkmark meaning he read it, but then the checkmark went away and the sent arrow showed up. How? Does that mean he deleted our messages? Thanks!

No it doesn't mean he deleted the message. There is no notification that allows the sender to see the receiver has deleted the message. Once the system has saw you've seen the message has been read it turns into the sent arrow.

I often get busy or distracted by something else, mark a message back to unread so that I can resume the conversation at a later time.
