On facebook..I'm trying to find someone local?
I'm sure there was an option to do a friend search by area before...I can't see how to do it now..Or am I mistaken ?

I'd suggest you to try the site listed below, it allows to search on Facebook with the help of keywords, so you may narrow down your search results with any criterias like name, location etc.
