facebook messages talk half an hour! RAWR!?

k, well. i'm trying to talk to my crush on facebook (i'm a guy and she's a girl), and sometimes when i message her, it takes half an hour for her to have 'seen' the message.4

sometimes, it's instant, she gets the message and replies,,, and sometimes she doesn't. and it takes half an hour

it doesn't take half an hour with other friends, just her.

so. what is making these facebook messages take half an hour to be 'seen'?
'cause when someone messages you, a chat box automatically opens.

sometimes she replies, immediately, and sometimes she doesn't. either because she isn't replying or she doesn't get the message ('till half an hour later)

also, there is no red triangle saying the message has not been sent.

do girls normally decide to take half an hour to reply or is it something wrong with facebook?

also, my friend'd crush takes forever to reply to him aswell sooo, yeah. any help is appreciated.
