Avoiding inappropriate adds?

Can I get rid of and avoid the multitude of suggestive, pornographic and inappropriate adds that pop up every time I access my e-mail? They are neither welcome or appreciated especially when the children are around. I have deleted the cookies from my computer and I have never accessed any of these places myself. Why am I getting these adds?

Do you mean 'ads' or are you being asked to join something?

If you are using firefox or chrome use adblock add-on.It will block the unwanted things.
